Instrumental / Electronica
Original pieces with no vocals (or where vocals are not the core of the song).
Retro & Chiptune
"Plum Orchard Town," "Gates of Hell," and "Maison Fantôme" were composed in Famitracker, a tracker used to make music compatible with the NES. "Nature Has Reclaimed What Was Hers" was composed in FL Studio using a Genesis-style soundfont, while "Midnight Snack" and "Encroaching Darkness" use a Game Boy soundfont.
As Pastel Hand Grenade (with vocals)
Typically of a post-punk or Vaguely Folk-Ish bent, these songs feature my voice and lyrics front and center.
Mashups, Remixes, Rearrangements
Pieces that take existing songs and reinterpret, remix, or just generally screw around with 'em.
Commission Details
So, you're interested in paying me money to make music for you. Good news: this is also something that I am Very Interested In!
For standard commissions - i.e., songs you want for a small independent project or just for the hell of it - I charge a rate of $20 per minute (generally measured in half-minute chunks). If you want it to be a clean loop, that's a $5 surcharge. I can also provide lyrics and vocals - either my own, or via Vocaloid - for a negotiable fee.
For bigger projects with a significant budget behind them, the charge is generally $60 per minute ($10 surcharge for a clean loop). Details can be negotiated on a project-to-project basis.
